- Amendment provides for payment during fiscal year 1996 of veterans' benefits in the event that appropriations legislation for fiscal year 1996 is not enacted.
- Purpose
- An amendment to add a new title to the joint resolution consisting of the text of H.J. Res. 134 as passed by the House. The amendment would provide continued funding for Veterans' benefits, payments to contractors of the Veternas Health Administration, and associated administrative costs, with the exception that the appropritation would continue only through January 3, 1995.
