Amendment requires the U.S. Sentencing Commission to issue enhanced penalties for individuals who are convicted of a crime while (1) having a firearm with a laser sighting device in their possession at the time of a crime, or (2) having a laser sighting device which could have been attached to the firearm that was in their possession during the crime.
