- Amendment sought to provide that, within 30 days after the date of the enactment of the Act, the Secretary of Energy shall publish in the Commerce Business Daily requests for proposals to sell all Department of Energy laboratories except Los Almos, Sandia and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories.

- An amendment to direct the Secretary of Energy to sell seven of the 10 DOE research laboratories within thirty days of enactment of the bill. The amendment would exclude Los Alamos, Laurence Livermore, and the Sandia laboratories.
