- Amendment in the nature of a substitute authorizes the Speaker to declare recesses from Dec. 23, 1995 through Jan. 3, 1996.
- Purpose
- An amendment in the nature of a substitute to allow the Speaker to declare recesses of the House subject to a call of the Chair on the calendar days of Saturday, December 23, 1995 through Wednesday, December 27, 1995; and Saturday, December 30, 1995 through Wednesday, January 3, 1996. Recesses declared on Saturday, December 30, 1995 shall not extend beyond 11:55 a.m. on January 3, 1996.
