Amendment originally sought to prohibit the use of any funds for the operation of TV Marti broadcasting to Cuba. \ As amended by the Smith (NJ) amendment (A029), the above was qualified to prohibit funds only when it is known that such funds would be inconsistent with the applicable provision of the March 1995 Office of Cuba Broadcasting Reinventing Plan of the USIA.
