- Amendment sought to delete language concerning the accreditation of certain medical programs.
- Purpose
- An amendment preprinted in the Congressional Record of July 28 as amendment No. 10, to delete provisions that protect Federal funding for graduate medical education programs that refuse to provide abortion training; and eliminates language that prohibits the use of funds to require any medical school to be accredited in order to receive a license, certificate, or other legal status, or financial benefit from the Federal Government.
