- Purpose
- An amendment printed in the Congressional Record of July 21, as amendment No. 6, to increase funding the National Marine Fisheries Service and coastal programs of NOAA by $62.2 million; and offsets this increase with cuts of $10 million in construction at NIST, $5 million in NOAA construction, $22 million in U.S. Court of Appeals and District Courts salaries and expenses, and $20 million in cuts in the State Department salaries and expenses and diplomatic and consular programs.
