- Purpose
- An amendment to provide for funds to be authorized for law enforcement block grants as follows: (1) $150,000,000, FY 1996; (2) $50,000,000, FY 1997; (3) $300,000,000, FY 1998; (4) $300,000,000, FY 1999; and (5) $1,732,000,000, FY 2000. The bill calls for such funds to be authorized at a rate of $2,000,000,000 for each fiscal year.
