Amendment originally sought to require that evidence obtained must have been acquired in accordance with the fourth amendment to the Constitution of the United States. \ As amended by the McCollum substitute amendment(A007), the above was replaced with language that clarifies that nothing in the section shall be construed so as to violate the fourth article of amendments to the Constitution of the United States.
