Amendment establishes procedures for the disposition in the House of points of order made against proposed legislation under the provisions of the bill. \ As amended by the Moakley amendment (A054), language was added which requires any member raising a point of order against proposed legislation to specify the precise language to which the point of order is premised.

- Purpose
- An amendment to provide for the disposition of points of order made against proposed legislation under the provisions of the bill. The amendment would provide that the Chair recognize a member for the purpose of raising a point of order against proposed legislation under the provisions of the bill, and the point of order would be debatable for 20 minutes, without intervening motion except a motion to adjourn or that the Committee of the Whole rise.
