- To provide that the Secretary of Agriculture shall by March 31, 1997 report to the committees on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Senate on the status and disposition of all salvage timber sales started under the authority of Section 2001 of P.L. 104-121 and subsequently withdrawn or delayed and completed under different authorities as a consequence of the July 2, 1996 Directive on the implemenation of Section 2001 issued by the Secretary.
