Amendment to the Cunningham amendment (A016) sought to to provide that unless and until acquired by the U.S., no private lands within the boundaries of the National Park System units that are proposed for expansion by the bill shall be subject to any of the rules or regulations applicable solely to Federal lands and may be used in accordance with and to the extent allowed by applicable existing law.
