Amendment deletes language that requires the members of the Board of Directors of the Office of Compliance to have experience in the laws to be applied to the legislative branch; allows former congressional employees to serve on the Board, providing they have not been employed by Congress for four years prior to their appointment; requires the Executive Director of the Board to have expertise in the laws referred to in the bill; and prohibits Members of former Members of Congress from serving as Executive Director.
