- Purpose
- An amendment, offered as a perfecting amendment, to specify that nothing in the provisions of the bill shall be construed as affecting the jurisdiction of the State of California with respect to fish and wildlife on the public lands located in that state. The amendment would allow appropriate California state agencies to maintain or restore fish and wildlife populations and habitats within wilderness areas, including the use of motorized vehicles in areas designated as Wilderness Areas.
