- Purpose
- An amendment comprised of several amendments offered en bloc to increase the bill's appropriation for community health centers by $87 million up to a level of $703.5 million, and to increase the appropriation for rural health outreach grants by $26 million up to a level of $52 million. The amendment would offset the outlay increase associated with these increases by cutting appropriations for administrative accounts in the Labor, Education, HHS Departments by a total of $70 million.
