- Amendment sought to transfer $213.7 million from UN peacekeeping payments to accounts which would reimburse States for the costs of incarcerating illegal aliens and for community policing.
- Purpose
- An amendment to transfer monies in the amount of $213,745,000 from accounts for international peacekeeping payments to the U.N. to accounts which would serve to reimburse states for costs of incarcerating illegal aliens ($87,500,000) and for community policing at home ($119,000,000) resulting in an aggregate reduction of $7,245,000 in amounts otherwise provided.
