- Amendment clarifies that Federal, State, and local law enforcement agencies shall be permitted to continue conducting law enforcement or border operations in any of the wilderness areas designated by the bill.
- Purpose
- An amendment to provide that nothing in the bill is to be construed as precluding federal, state, or local law enforcement agencies from conducting law enforcement or border operations (as permitted before the enactment of the bill), including use of motor vehicles and aircraft, in any of the wilderness areas designated by the measure.
