Amendment adds language to the findings and purposes section of the bill in order to highlight the importance of protecting Montana's biodiversity and preserving areas in their natural roadless state; and requires the Committee on Merchant Marine and Fisheries to be informed of the progress of the panel conducting the ecosystem and economic study of the northern Rockies area within the State of Montana under section 9.
