Amendment originally sought to require the Secretary of Education to develop a Presidential awards program to provide cash awards to schools that excel in achieving the goals established in the Goals 2000: Educate America Act. \ As amended by the Goodling amendment (A011), the above was replaced with language that authorizes the development of a Presidential awards program that will recognize the person or corporation producing the best education game of the year.
