- Amendment requires that agents of the National Biological Survey obtain written permission from a property owner before they enter private property and that they provide landowners access to the data obtained on their property.
- Purpose
- An amendment to strike section 6 of the bill and to insert a new section 6 which requires that Survey activities on private and other non-federal lands be in compliance with state laws where such laws apply, and inserts language which outlines consent and notice requirements that the Survey must adhere to when conducting activities on private properties.
