- Amendment defines the term "biological resources" for the purposes of this bill.
- Purpose
- An amendment to narrow the bill's definition of the "biological resources" to be inventoried and monitored by the NBS. Under the bill, biological resources include plants, fish, invertebrates, and wildlife, as well as the terrestrial, aquatic, and marine ecosystems in which they occur. The amendment would delete the portion of this definition pertaining to ecosystems.
