- Amendment provides that compensation for any takings declared by a court of jurisdiction must come from the abandoned locatable minerals mine reclamation fund and not the Department of Justice.
- Purpose
- An amendment to add a new section which directs that as a result of adjudication by a court of competent jurisdiction, if a finding should occur in which a taking under the Fifth amendment is effected, just compensation shall be awarded to the plaintiff from a fund established by the bill.
