- An amendment to require Department of Defense personnel, as part of the process for enlistmentment or appointment, to ascertain whether or not a candidate for induction into the Armed Forces: 1. Is homosexual or bisexual, and 2. whether the candidate engages in homosexual acts or intends to engage in, or has a propensity to engage in, homosexual acts.
