- Purpose
- An amendment to prohibit other federal agencies from using information collected by the NBS on private land unless the landowner has been provided access to the information, a detailed description of the manner in which it was collected, and the opportunity to dispute its accuracy. In cases where the landowner disputes the information, the amendment would provide that the information may be used only if the Secretary of the Interior reviews it and determines that it is accurate.
