Amendments en bloc: (1) conform the bill with language already in the United States Geological Service which prevents conflicts of interest on the part of those who conduct land surveys and specifies that they cannot have any interest in the land on which they are conducting the survey; and (2) require that the Director shall seek to insure that ongoing scientific studies at the present time not be jeopardized by the reallocation of resources within the Interior Department pursuant to this act.
