- Amendment sought to delete language which extends coverage of the bill to those employees involved in a labor dispute who have petitioned the NLRB for a union representational election at least 30 days prior to the labor dispute, and which the NLRB has not completed representational proceedings.
- Purpose
- An amendment to provide that the provisions of the bill apply only in cases where a union has been certified by the NLRB, or otherwise recognized by the employer, as the exclusive bargaining representative of the employees involved in the strike.
