Amendments: (1) direct the Secretary of Commerce to coordinate activities of the Manufacturing Outreach Program Information Network with other federal agencies, particularly the agile manufacturing/enterprise integration activities of the Department of Defense; and (2) require that there be adequate opportunity for public comment and for congressional consideration of the plan for the Manufacturing Outreach Network.
