Purpose
An amendment which reduces by 10% the bill's funding levels in FY 1994 and FY 1995 for the State Department and AID "operating accounts". The amendment does not reduce funds for emergency repairs, the office of inspector general, or the security costs of overseas missions. The amendment also decreases the number of State Department and AID employees worldwide by 10% from the number employed on the date of the bill's enactment.
