- Purpose
- To ensure that representatives of distance learning consortia, and representatives of telecommunications partnerships receiving assistance under the Star Schools Program Assistance Act, are involved in developing a national long-range plan that promotes higher student achievement through the use of technology in education, and to require such plan to describe how the Secretary of Education will utilize the outcomes of the evaluation undertaken pursuant to section 908 of the Star Schools Program Assistance Act.
