- Amendment requires that individuals be drug-free for three months in order to be eligible for treatment under the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Program for State prisoners.
- Purpose
- An amendment numbered 6 printed in House Report 109-236 to provide a requirement that treatment under the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) program be available to those individuals who have passed a regularly administered drug-screening test for three months. The amendment also provides that aftercare be provided to prisoners enrolled in the RSAT program as a component of comprehensive substance abuse treatment.
