- Amendment sought to delete section 8020 which prohibits funds in the bill from being used to conduct studies for public-private competition if the studies exceed certain time limits.
- Purpose
- An amendment numbered 10 printed in the Congressional Record to prohibit the uses of funds to be used to perform any cost study pursuant to the provisions of OMB Circular A-76 if the study being performed exceeds a period of 24 months after initiation of such study with respect to a single function activity or 30 months after initiation of such study for a multi-function activity.
