- Amendment restores $100 million for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
- Purpose
- An amendment to add a new section reducing appropriations for the Department of Labor-Employment and Training Administration- Training and Employment Services by $58 million; the Department of Labor-Departmental Management-Salaries and Expenses by $4,640,000; the Department of Health and Human Services-Health Resources and Services Administration-Health Resources and Services by $2,920,000; the Department of Education-Higher Education by $27 million; and Department of Education-Departmental Management-Program Administration by $8,380,000. The amendment also prohibits use of funds in the bill to carry out the rescission under the heading "Corporation for Public Broadcasting".
